Jason Pitts has been a lifelong resident of north Alabama. The Best and Brightest Initiative brought him and his partner, Megan Pitts, to Decatur in 2016. He is a successful entrepreneur, founding J’s Ice Co. over a decade ago. J’s Ice Co. sells packaged ice to local stores, restaurants, and special events. He also manages Vuteq USA, a tier one automotive supplier to Mazda-Toyota. Jason serves as a board member at the Carnegie Visual Arts Center and is Carnegie Carnival Parade Logistics Coordinator. In his free time, Jason enjoys golfing and woodworking. His love for the art stems from a passion to cultivate community and to inspire others. He feels as if the Carnegie Visual Arts Center plays a leading role in Decatur to do just that.
