Carnegie Carnival - North Alabama's Premier Mardi Gras Celebration benefiting the Carnegie Visual Arts Center

February 26, 2022

Downtown Decatur, Alabama

Carnegie Carnival is a fund-raising project benefiting the

Carnegie Visual Arts Center.

In 2012, the Carnegie Visual Arts Center presented the area’s first Mardi-Gras-style celebration called Carnegie Carnival. Promoting art, creativity, family fun, and downtown revitalization, individuals came together to establish the Charter Crewes of Carnegie Carnival. The rest, as they say, is history.

Carnival Parade

A full day of Mardi Gras themed events culminates with the Carnegie Carnival Parade. Crewes, floats, a bag of throws, music and more… Let the good times roll in Downtown Decatur, Alabama!
