Hector is a 5 and a half year old English Mastiff who weighs 200 pounds.
He volunteers his time as a therapy dog at a preschool for underserved
children. He works with his mom every day, sleeping under her desk,
and he’s always employee of the month.
In his free time, Hector enjoys camping, breweries and bandanas,
trying to befriend his three murder mittens (kitty) siblings and he’s
always up for a sniffari.
In 2024, Hector and his Mom were named Ambassador of the Year by the
Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association. You can follow his

After having a pawsome time at Carnegie Carnival last year, he was
eager to get involved this year and looks forward to raising needed
funds for Decatur Animal Services and the Carnegie Visual Arts Center.
