Carnegie Carnival - North Alabama's Premier Mardi Gras Celebration benefiting the Carnegie Visual Arts Center

March 1, 2025

Downtown Decatur, Alabama

Carnegie Carnival is a fund-raising project benefiting the

Carnegie Visual Arts Center.

In 2012, the Carnegie Visual Arts Center presented the area’s first Mardi-Gras-style celebration called Carnegie Carnival. Promoting art, creativity, family fun, and downtown revitalization, individuals came together to establish the Charter Crewes of Carnegie Carnival. The rest, as they say, is history.

Carnival Parade
