Emma Grace Locker is the daughter of Kent and Farrah Locker. She is a senior at Austin High School and is a blackbelt in Tang Soo Do. Dance is her passion, as she has been a competitive dancer for 11 years. She is also the captain of Austin’s Dance team.
In her free time, she models professionally around the southeast and has been featured in multiple publications. She is an officer in the National Honor Society, active in Health Occupations Students of America’s (HOSA), Mu Alpha Theta, English Honor Society, Austin Ambassadors, Sports Med Internship, and maintains a 3.9-grade point average.
Emma plans to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham to pursue a degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Exercise Science. Her career goal is to become a Physical Therapist specializing in dance therapy. While attending UAB, she hopes to become a Golden Girl and a professional cheerleader after college.
As a performing artist, Emma is honored to be a nominee for Carnegie Carnival Princess. She knows how important it is that the arts have a space in every community and that children have a place to experience the arts first-hand.
